Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks

By Rachel Puryear

Nestled in the southern part of California’s Sierra mountain range, a couple hours away from Fresno; is a pair of two national parks, right next to one another – Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks.

These twin parks offer mountain vistas, forests with giant trees to stroll and hike through, waterfalls, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, amazing night sky views after dark, and more.

This pair of parks is well worth the visit. Here are some great pictures:

Note: A variety of elevations are present within the parks. Accordingly, weather conditions can also vary from one area to another. Be sure to check weather conditions before your trip.

For your safety, as well as the well-being of the wildlife and wilderness, please also check safety information before your trip.
