In the world’s tropical regions, year-round heat and abundant rainfall makes for many lush, gorgeous tropical rainforests teeming with diverse, amazing life forms.

These pictures will help showcase that natural beauty – but you’ll have to visit there yourself in order to also experience the awesome sounds, smells, and humidity of these beautiful forests.

Tropical forests are also a huge source of the world’s oxygen supply, and they absorb much of the world’s carbon dioxide – thereby playing a critical role in addressing climate change and its effects.

Accordingly, conservation efforts of tropical rainforests and other natural wilderness are not only very important for preserving diversity of life and natural beauty on Earth, but for the health and livability of the planet and all living creatures on it.
