Tucked into a corner of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Peninsula region is the gorgeous, and historic, Filoli estate – with huge gardens, forest trails, and a mansion belonging to the families who used to own Filoli privately.
Stroll through serene, shady forests with towering redwood trees. Enjoy browsing colorful flower beds showcasing a diverse array of blossoms. Sit and relax beside charming ponds with lily pads. Check out the fruit and vegetable gardens with plenty of delicious looking produce growing.

Take a trip back in time, as well, and visit the grand, stately mansion onsite. Still displaying the mid-20th century decor inside, this soaring home offers a glimpse into ultra-upper class life (and those of their many servants) decades ago.

If you’re getting hungry, you can have lunch at the Quail Cafe onsite. You can eat indoors or outdoors, and there are plenty of delicious, and nutritious options.
