Happy Valentines from 100 Down Club! I’m 3 weeks behind schedule on publishing this, but better late than never. Hope yours let you feel special and loved. And while health and fitness is important for many reasons, always remember that you are lovable now, no matter where you are with your weight. ❤
If, however, you are feeling less than lovable because of how much you weigh…we’ve all been there. It’s not really you, it’s shitty assholes who tell you – sometimes in blatant but mostly in much more subtle ways – that you don’t deserve love, happiness, success, affection, or other good things in life if you are not below a certain size threshold. Or who use the excuse that treating people of all shapes and sizes with basic human decency and kindness is somehow glorifying obesity. People who think that way are the undeserving ones, not you.
If you have people in your life who love you as you are, you are very lucky. ❤ Hold on to them dearly, and treat them well. I am very lucky, too. 🙂
If you are not so lucky, remember that no matter how it seems, people exist in the world who will love you as you are. It sounds obvious, but the funny thing is, it’s important to be reminded of this. I truly, sincerely hope that you find such people soon in your life . ❤
Here’s a thought for you for the day:
“I’m selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.” – Marilyn Monroe
Thank you my lovely readers for reading! If this helped you or moved you, please share. xoxo
